1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

Built In Public respects the intellectual property rights of builders. If you believe your work has been copied or used on the platform in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please follow the procedure below.

2. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice

To file a notice of infringement, you must provide a written communication that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
• A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
• A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the platform (e.g., URL to the project or post).
• Your address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing your signature, identification of the material removed, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

4. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
